The blog is back!

Well, a year later … the blog is back! I delayed for quite a while because I didn’t want to put up anything that would “interrupt” the flow of the posts from the Wedding World Tour … however, I haven’t posted for nearly a year, and it was time!

Of course, it wasn’t so simple. WordPress was broken. So I tried the “update automatically” button to see if an upgrade would fix it. Nope. Manual upgrade process: supposed to be 5 minutes. Nope. About 6 hours later, I figured out how to use SSH so I could export and re-import my SQL database so I could upgrade THAT to 5, then spent hours with my host to get PHP from 4 to 5 … then revived my themes, figured out where WP stored everything and revived that … basically, I just got a massive lesson on things I’d never hoped to know. My point, though, is simple:

If you see anything wrong with the site, please let me know so I can fix it before it become too broken again!
