airport

(filed by email from LAX) Okay … was it really possible that this
morning, before 10 am, I had … got up, put my fully
packed bags in the car, gone to my Dr appointment, chatted with the Dr
for 20 minutes, went to Target, got my prescription, picked up my
drycleaning, went home, repacked my bag to include my drycleaning, ran
the EO Board Conference Call … OH! and got a haircut …. all by
10:10 am, nearly on time???

Crazy. I can’t believe I got it all done. Now me and Mark O are
sitting here at the airport like dorks, both typing on our computers on
a wireless network. He’s more of a dork then I am, though, because he
has not only his phone but also his iPod connected to his computer.

Our flight leaves in 30 minutes. I’m excited because I just found out
that we have a -5- hour layover in Paris. I thought it was 3 … but
now I think we have time to leave the airport and have a Parisienne
lunch … cool! I live for little things like that. But we’ll see what
happens.
